You have the option to passively wait until the user initiates the chat via your Ochatbot or actively initiate the chat by sending individual users a message of your choice. Live Chat Dashboard<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1. <b>Department Stats:<\/b><span> Here you can view how many Active and Pending chats for each domain on your account.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>2. <b>Online Visitors:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Here you see individual users and their relevant information such as how long they have been on the site, what page they are on, and more. (More information about the Online Visitor details is below)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>3.<b> Pending Chats:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Once a chat is initiated or accepted by the user they will appear here. Online Visitors List<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>1.<b> Notifications:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Manage your notifications here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>2.<b> Custom Filters:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Search for a user in the type box or select the filters you would like to apply to the list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>3.<b> Default Filters:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Select from the default filters to easily sort users by last activity, time on site, visitor local time, by user status on site, which page they are on, or which page they came from.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>4.<b> Time on Site:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> How long the user has been on your site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>5.<b> User ID:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Default ID given by Ometrics system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>6.<b> Status:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> View if the user is New, has started a chat (name user gives will be displayed along with the chat icon), or if they are a returning user that displays how many times they have been to your site.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>7.<b> User Time Zone: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tells you the user\u2019s time zone and local time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>8.<b> Current Page:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> What page the user is currently on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>9.<b> Page Came From:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> What page the user came from.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>10.<b> Send a Message:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Option to send the user a message (Actively initiating a chat is explained below).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">11. <\/span><b>Delete User:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Delete the user from this list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;9&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.9&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><b>C. Let\u2019s break down each:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;12&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.12&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><b>Passive Initiation<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can choose to sit and wait for a user to take the lead on initiating a chat by giving them the option within your Ochatbot. You can choose to place a Live Chat button in highly trafficked areas of your Ochatbot to promote your live chat for more active sales cycles\/agents. The other passive option is to place the Live Chat button in just your fallback reply to limit the live chatting to users not satisfied by the AI chatbot responses. Let\u2019s go through step-by-step how a user would initiate a chat:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.ometrics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/lc.5.F-2.jpg&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;13&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.13&#8243;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;14&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.14&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><b>Ochatbot Button<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clicking the Live Chat button brings the user to the Live Chat intent that displays the Live Chat hours. From there they can select to connect to Live Chat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.ometrics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/lc.6.FFFF_.jpg&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;15&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.15&#8243;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;16&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.16&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><b>Fill Out Form &amp;\u00a0Wait For Operator<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This step involves the user inputting their name and the first message they would like to send to the operator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then the user must wait for the operator to accept the chat. If there is no operator online, the user will be sent to a contact form where they can send in their message or inquiry (this contact form will automatically be sent to the email address entered in your Alerts tab). <\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.ometrics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/lc.7.F.jpg&#8221; align=&#8221;center&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;17&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.17&#8243;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;18&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.18&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><b>Start Chatting<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the operator accepts the chat, the user and the operator are now connected and are able to start chatting away!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; _i=&#8221;19&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.19&#8243;][\/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.3&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; _i=&#8221;20&#8243; _address=&#8221;1.0.1.20&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><b>Proactive Invitation<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also choose to proactively invite a user to chat by messaging individual users to prompt them to initiate the chat. When you send the user a message, the AI chatbot widget will disappear and be replaced by a small window displaying your message to them. As always, try testing different invitation messages to see which message captures more users. Pay attention to which page they are on to customize the message to help increase conversions. For example, if they are on a warranty page try asking if they have questions about your warranty or if they are on a specific product page try tailoring the message towards that product (i.e. \u201cThose new Nikes are great and are our most popular shoe recently! I can help you with questions about sizing, colors, etc.\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <strong>2.\u00a0<\/strong>Select from your canned messages with this dropdown menu. (More information about the Online Visitor details is below)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span>3.<b> Pending Chats:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Once a chat is initiated or accepted by the user they will appear here. You can choose to place a Live Chat button in highly trafficked areas of your Ochatbot to promote your live chat for more active sales cycles\/agents. The other passive option is to place the Live Chat button in just your fallback reply to limit the live chatting to users not satisfied by the AI chatbot responses.
